Hello 2020

Happy New Year!

Reflection
Like everyone else, 2019 had its ups and downs for us. Most of the downs came towards the end of the year, which included the loss of Doug’s nana and our rotti Gypsy. The ups were numerous though, and I’m grateful to be able to say 2019 was generally a good year in our household!

December included the conclusion of Asher’s soccer season at the Frost Bite tournament (no snow this year, but still cold) and of course the holidays. We found a cute little mix (45 lbs, little to us!) at the shelter right before Christmas and she has been fitting into the family wonderfully so far.
Riding was minimal due to loss of daylight and weather fouling my plans for most of the month, but we did get out for a very long walk (18 miles) through the mountains after Christmas, and a little saddle time on New Years Day before heading out with the family to go snow tubing!

2019 was great, and what wasn’t great about it is now in the past anyway. Cheers to a bright 2020 for all!
