I was approached by THT to do another blog review for 2019. Sully looks smashing in the endurance set of theirs we use that is turquoise and teal/sky blue, and since I have an “extra” reflective blue breast collar (another brand’s) and a blue beta THT crupper around without a matching bridle for it, I said sure! I went with a different style this time by not getting snap on type, it is their Western Bridle, full brow-band and reflective overlay.

I got the horse size again, with the cheek to cheek measurements taken and noted to them as requested… With a hack, it appears we could have gone to an Arab size as I’m out almost out of adjustment holes here!

My hope was to set it up as a Hackamore bridle for Sully, but I don’t think he’s ready for it yet. I’m looking at some different bits (such as a Myler combo) to try with him, but for now I just tossed on our current bit, with a new curb strap that is “neutral” on our color scheme:
